  No Christian Science church is affiliated with Scientology in any way, nor is it a cult. We are a thoroughly Christian, Bible-based church blessing our community.
  
  The dual pastor of the Christian Science church consists of two books: the Holy Bible, and Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, by Mary Baker Eddy. This pastor is always available, everywhere, to everyone with these books. The Bible is the Word of God, the voice of Truth. Simply open the books and read them to hear His voice and find guidance and inspiration.
  
  In establishing these books as our pastor, Mrs. Eddy wrote this:
  
  “Your dual and impersonal pastor, the Bible, and ‘Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures,’ is with you; and the Life these give, the Truth they illustrate, the Love they demonstrate, is the great Shepherd that feedeth my flock, and leadeth them ‘beside the still waters’” (Miscellaneous Writings 1883-1896).
  
  You will hear the same inspiring and healing weekly sermon read at every Christian Science Sunday church service globally, from Delaware to New Delhi, from Tucson to the lively society in Toowoomba, Queensland, Australia. This unifying message of divine Truth, God, is published as a weekly Lesson-Sermon in the Christian Science Quarterly. Church members around the world unite in studying it daily. The Lesson-Sermon consists of citations from the Bible and Science and Health. The 26 topics include God the Only Cause and Creator, Christ Jesus, God the Preserver of Man, Doctrine of Atonement.
  
  The services are conducted by church members: a First Reader and Second Reader read from the Bible and Science and Health. Music is provided by an organist and soloist. Members serve as ushers to greet people and answer questions.
  
  Naturally since there are no ordained clergy in the Christian Science church, the buildings are primarily open for services only. One-hour Sunday services and Sunday School are held at 9:30 am. The one-hour Wednesday evening testimony meeting begins at 7:30 pm. Following hymns and a brief inspirational reading from the Pastor, congregants relate healings they have experienced through Christian Science, through a scientific and spiritual understanding of God and His divine law of harmony and health, as taught in the Bible, demonstrated by Christ Jesus and his followers, and explained in Science and Health.
  
  Church members believe that Christian Science is the promised Comforter, bringing “all things to [our] remembrance” (see John 14:26) by restoring primitive Christian healing to Christianity.

Read or listen to testimonies of present-day spiritual healing? Study helpful articles on how to heal and be healed today? Or pray and meditate on God’s goodness, allness, and love for you and all mankind? There is a peaceful place to do so!
  
  The Christian Science Reading Room, located in Plaza del Oro at 6470 N Oracle Road (cross street Orange Grove, near Hobby Lobby) is open to everyone. Business hours are Tuesday-Friday 10 am - 4 pm, Saturday 10 am - noon. Closed Sunday and Monday.
