Always seemed Like A nice place, I live right across the street so I would walk here a lot with my cat. Unfortunately, over the weekend I was having a really hard time. So I walked across to sit outside of this church and just be outside, be away from my house.
After being out side for about five minutes a man came out and he saw me crying and he just said to me in a very mean voice "What are you doing out here!?" I tried to explain to him that I was just having a bad day and I just wanted to be outside. He then asks me in the same voice "So what? Do live around here or something?" I told him yes, and I pointed to my house and said " I live right across the street, but I just really needed to get away." Then he responded again in that same mean voice "Then why don't you get your self right back over there!"
This just made me feel worse, even more like I didn't have a place. It's ok though, I forgive them. Maybe he was just judging me and worried I was a terrorist or something. In this world today I suppose all we can do is try to protect our own and not worry about the rest. I just really thought I should share.Added June 13, 2017 by Johnny Havoc
